Self Assessment
For sole traders, partnerships and landlords - work out your trading profit, see your SA103 and SA100 figures, and close each tax year in Kontala.
If your business is not a limited company, its profits are taxed on the person who owns it, through Self Assessment. Kontala works out that profit from the books you already keep, restates it on the basis you use for tax, and gives you the figures to put on your return.
Kontala does not file Self Assessment to HMRC. It prepares the numbers; you or your accountant enter them.
