Delete your account

Permanently close your Kontala account and remove your data.

You can close your Kontala account whenever you like, and your data goes with it.

How to delete

  1. Go to Settings → Account.
  2. Choose Delete account and confirm.

What happens

  • Your connections are removed and Kontala stops reading any data.
  • Your personal and financial data is deleted in line with our privacy policy - see also Export or delete your data.
  • Deletion is permanent, so export anything you want to keep first.

Returns you have already submitted stay on record with HMRC, as required by law.
