Connect a bank feed
Securely link your business bank account through open banking so Kontala sees transactions as they happen.

A bank feed keeps Kontala up to date automatically, so your VAT position reflects money as it actually moves.
How the connection works
Kontala connects to your bank through open banking, using our regulated provider Yapily Connect Ltd, which is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. The connection is read-only: Kontala can see your transactions but can never move money or make payments. For more on this, see The regulated bank connection.
Connect your bank
- In Kontala, go to Settings → Connections and choose Bank feed.
- Pick your bank and sign in on your bank's own secure page.
- Approve read-only access to your account.
Your transactions begin flowing into Kontala within a few minutes.
Reconfirming access
Open banking rules ask you to reconfirm access roughly every 90 days. Kontala reminds you before a connection expires - see Reconnect or disconnect a source.
