Connect FreeAgent
Sync your FreeAgent account so Kontala reads your transactions and bills automatically.

If you already keep your books in FreeAgent, connecting it is the fastest way to get started.
Connect your account
- In Kontala, go to Settings → Connections and choose FreeAgent.
- You will be sent to FreeAgent to sign in and approve access.
- Choose the business you want to connect, then confirm.
That is it - Kontala starts reading your transactions straight away.
What syncs
Kontala pulls in your transactions, contacts, and VAT-relevant bills and invoices. It keeps in step with FreeAgent, so new items appear automatically without another export.
Good to know
- The connection is read-only. Kontala never changes anything in FreeAgent.
- You can disconnect at any time - see Reconnect or disconnect a source.
