Fix a broken connection
What to do when a bank feed or FreeAgent connection stops updating.

If Kontala stops seeing new transactions, the connection has usually just lapsed. Most cases are quick to fix.
Common causes
- Access has expired. Open banking consent lasts about 90 days and then needs reconfirming.
- You changed your banking password, which can end the connection.
- Your bank is doing maintenance, so the feed pauses temporarily.
What to do
- Open Settings → Connections and look for a source marked Needs attention.
- Choose Reconnect and sign in on your bank's page again - see Reconnect or disconnect a source.
- Give it a few minutes for recent transactions to catch up.
